Point Dume

Point Dume in Malibu, California, is a striking coastal promontory jutting into the Pacific Ocean, marking the northern end of Santa Monica Bay. The Point Dume Natural Preserve offers trails leading to a bluff-top overlook with panoramic views of Zuma Beach, the Santa Monica Mountains, and distant Catalina Island. The crescent-shaped Big Dume Beach below features clear waters, tide pools, and opportunities for surfing, scuba diving, and whale watching (December–April).
