Title

Going to the Sun Road is a breathtaking 50 mile, paved two lane highway that spans Glacier National Park, Montana, crossing the Continental Divide at Logan Pass (6,646 feet, the highest point on the road). Completed in 1932 after nearly two decades of construction, it’s a marvel of engineering, harmonizing with the park’s mountains. It’s one of the most scenic drives in the U.S., recognized as a National Historic Place, National Historic Landmark, and National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark.

Captured in fall 2024.
